For the kids at Greenglade Elementary School in West Kendall, it was the closest most had ever been to Hannah Montana.
A few girls cried, though all screamed Wednesday in the crowd of 500 students learning about proper hand hygiene from Disney actor Mitchel Musso, who plays Oliver Oken, best friend of Hannah Montana, aka Miley Cirus, on the hit kids' show.

Hatching Pete DVD News Already

Two DCOMs, one DVD. Neither Hatching Pete nor Dadnapped has aired yet, but the winter 2009 Disney Channel movies are already scheduled to come to DVD together in a Double Feature disc ($26.99 SRP) on May 12th. The tween-friendly comedies, which star Jason Dolley ("Cory in the House") and "Hannah Montana" sidekicks Mitchel Musso and Emily Osment will be presented in fullscreen and Dolby 5.1 sound. Pete will hold the featurette "Unmasking the Mascot", while Dadnapped serves up an animated graphic novel and an extended ending.

Jason Dolley and Mitchel Musso are two birds of a feather in their upcoming movie, Hatching Pete.
The comedic duo star as best friends Poole (Musso) and Pete (Dolley) and when Poole gets an allergic reaction from the chicken suit he wears as the school mascot, Pete takes over for a couple of basketball games. Once Pete dons the chicken suit, his shyness fades and a whole new outgoing character filled with personality appears.
Hatching Pete premieres on Disney Channel in April. Check out the preview below!

You can't star in Hannah Montana and stray away from the music business. Mitchel Musso, who plays Oliver on the hit Disney Channel series, recently talked to MTV about his upcoming album. He even gave a little tour of the set of his music video for the single “The In Crowd”.
Music has played a big part in Mitchel Musso's life. His older brother, Mason, has constantly been an influence to the young actor and he hasn't forgotten it one bit.
