'Hannah Montana: The Movie' Is More Mature With More Drama

"Hannah Montana: The Movie" will be different from its original TV series, "Hannah Montana". Discussing the matter with MTV News, one of the movie stars Mitchel Musso shared, "It has a lot more drama. There's a lot of sentimental things [in the script] that came from [Miley Cyrus'] heart and Billy Ray [Cyrus]'s heart, because that's where they live. They shot in all the areas they used to hang out in."
Exposing more about it when being interviewed on the red carpet for the world premiere of "Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience", the actor who plays Oliver pointed out, "It's a little bit more mature, but still very family friendly." He further explained the plot, saying "Miley doesn't want to be Hannah Montana. She wants to go back [home] and be her own thing, and falls in love with a boy there and doesn't want to leave."

HOLLYWOOD — Disney's unstoppable juggernaut hit "Hannah Montana" is moving to the big screen, and the finish line is getting closer for the April 10 release. Now, one of Miley Cyrus' co-stars is spilling details on the sweet scenes, secret guest stars and star-worthy acting that will make the flick much different from the TV show.

Teen's wish comes true when she meets Miley Cyrus

Laughter is a common sound in the Farmer house when the family turns on "Hannah Montana."
But last week, the Farmers weren't watching Miley Cyrus from their living room, rather live on the set of her TV show in California. It was 16-year-old Kelly Farmer's wish, and it was made possible thanks to the Children's Wish Foundation.
"She's been through a lot, and to know she was gonna have a special day and her wish come true, it was really cool," says Kelly's dad Jeff.
Did you know? Mitchel has a new Disney movie coming up, "Hatching Pete". It premieres this March 7th so mark your calendars and keep checking back for more info n updates all about the movie!
"Hatching Pete is an upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie about a boy named Poole (Mitchel Musso of Hannah Montana and Phineas and Ferb), who becomes the school mascot. He comes from a long lines of mascots in his family, but it turns out that he can't do it because he's allergic to the costume. So his shy best friend, Pete (Jason Dolley of Cory in the House and Minutemen) does it for him. But when Poole starts becoming popular for being the mascot, and people don't know its really Pete, trouble starts between the friends. It also stars Brian Stepanek (of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody) and Tiffany Thornton (of Welcome to Mollywood)."

Mitchel Musso flashes peace signs on the photo shoot set for his upcoming debut album (still untitled).
The 17-year-old Hannah Montana hunk will release his first solo CD on June 2nd. Mitchel shared, “Right now, we are on top of a penthouse — about 25 floors up or so, shooting the cover of my first solo album. Just want to give a shout out to Music Mogul and I want everyone to remember — make your mark.”

“Hey guys, I’m in New York and I’m recording my album. I wanna give a shout-out to Miley [Cyrus] and Emily [Osment], those two are my homegirls. I’m not doing this whole Valentine shout-out thing because I don’t really have a Valentine. So I’m going to say that Miley and Emily are my two best Valentines.”
