Miley Cyrus scored big ratings for the Disney Channel with the series finale of her hit show Hannah Montana.

The series finale of the hit show Hannah Montana, starring Miley Cyrus, pulled in 6.2 million viewers for the Disney channel -- breaking its record during the fourth season by nine percent!
Hannah Montana debuted in 2006 -- when Miley was just 14 years old --and turned her into a huge success, with two full-length spin-off movies, albums, products and more.
The show is about a student named Miley who leads a dual life as the singing sensation Hannah Montana (the blond wig apparently makes her unrecognizable to her friends). The show stars her real life father, Billy Ray Cyrus, plus Jason Earles, Emily Osment and Mitchel Musso.
Miley Cyrus said that even though Hannah Montana is ending, the show will stay with her. "I don’t think that’s something that’s going to be completely over," she told TV Guide. "I’ll always be involved with that. And the show won’t just come to an end. There will always be reruns and stuff like that, and I think it’s something that I’ll always want to keep in my life. It’s something that has really affected me and put me where I am today."
Her father, Billy Ray, said he admired his daughter for seeing the series through to the end. "Quite frankly, I give a lot of credit to Miley for taking it to another year. She didn’t want it to just end with whatever was the last episode we did. She wanted it to build to where there’s a moral to the story, to where it doesn’t just end and go away and that’s it. Hannah Montana Series Finale: Hugs and Warm Fuzzies for Everyone (Even Rico!)

After four years of hijinks, squabbles and crazy wigs, Hannah Montana sang its swan song with a — we'll say it, teary ! — hour-long series finale Sunday.
The episode focused on the longstanding friendship between Miley (Miley Cyrus) and Lilly (Emily Osment), who have made plans to attend Stanford together. Unfortunately, just before orientation, Miley is offered a role in a Steven Spielberg blockbuster opposite Tom Cruise and shooting in Paris. What's a famous-yet-loyal friend to do?
In the end, both Miley and Lilly make the right choices for each of them, but not without exchanging some tearful words and big hugs -- a smart move considering that the girls' friendship was the heart of the show.
Jackson (Jason Earles) also had a parallel friendship story when his nemesis and frequent antagonist Rico (Moises Arias) realizes that Jackson is the closest thing to a friend he has. Rico comes through with Jackson's dream job -- a video game tester — good for earning enough money to reciprocate his girlfriend Siena's (Tammin Sursok) pricey gifts.
Also joining in for a final farewell were dad Robbie (Billy Ray Cyrus), Lilly's soulmate Oliver (Mitchel Musso), Miley's boyfriend Jesse (Drew Roy) and mean girls Ashley and Amber (Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Shanica Knowles). ... Read More ...
Mitchel Musso Brainstorm Bundle has a Surprise

Mitchel Musso has a great surprise for many of his fans. His new album Brainstorm which is due out on November 22nd for $8 at Wal-Mart featuring eight new songs. But those that purchased the Brainstorm Bundle have a special surprise in store for them.
In the bundle along with the t-shirt, temporary tattoos, Mitchel’s personalized picks are also coming with a key necklace. But there is a very special surprise about the key necklace. Mitchel just tweeted about it mentioning how he would like fans to view the key as a key to his concerts. It means that for any fan showing up at a concert wearing the LOGO key necklace they have a chance to meet Mitchel face to face back stage. The only thing fans have to do is go to the merchandise table an hour before the concert begins and show that you are wearing the LOGO key necklace. While there is few bundles left you may still get chance to get to get your special key.
Only people with the key will be given the opportunity to have a special Meet and Greet with Mitchel. The actor, singer and musician has also recently lent his voice to Autism Speaks a campaign to bring attention to the illness and more attention needs to be given to make things change.
Mitchel Musso Gets Real On New Album, Brainstorm

Mitchel Musso made a name for himself as one of the stars of "Hannah Montana," alongside another star you may have heard of, Miley Cyrus. But Musso wants his fans to know he's much more than Cyrus' small-screen sidekick. He also has a burgeoning music career and his sophomore album, Brainstorm, drops next Monday.
For the album, Musso worked with brother and Metro Station frontman Mason Musso, whom he described as the perfect person to collaborate with because they mesh so well.
"Mason could teach me all day. He could teach me all day on anything and everything, but I don't care. I look up to him and he's my older brother," he said. "I love him to death. He's my best friend and we'll forever make music together and when we get into the studio we have the same mindset, which I think makes good music."
The album is Mitchel's passion project: He made a music video for each of the eight songs on the album, which he said should help to convey a story line. ... Read More ...
Mitchel Musso Gets Injured at Concert

Mitchel Musso shows off his new Planet Hollywood Times Square varsity jacket as he stops by the joint to host a Fan Appreciation Day on Tuesday afternoon (October 12).
The 19-year-old musician let fans get an exclusive preview of his upcoming album.
Mitchel was injured during his concert last night. He tweeted, “Missed #PairofKings. In the hospital getting Xrays! Hurt my leg @ a concert! I’m good though. Promise. Let me know what u thought about POK. HEY! Best Fans in the World! I’m fine but I appreciate your Prayers & Support. Big Project starting on Friday so I got to get better quick!”

Mitchel Musso keeps it basic in black as he steps out at the 2010 Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party held at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles on Friday night (October 1).
When JJJ chatted with the 19-year-old musician actor earlier this summer, he dished that he was almost done with his second album — that means new music from Mitchel!
Mitchel shared with us, “I recently recorded my second album and like half or 75% of my third. Just to have it all done. Music is such a big part of my life. I haven’t been able to do it at all lately. I’ve just been able to make music at my house. I know I start touring [again] next month. Show dates on the weekends so that will be cool. I love to be able to squeeze in some music.”
